Due to the rink closure and overall uncertainties caused by COVID-19, we have to do things a little differently for the 2020-2021 season.  Since we couldn't run tryouts in the spring, we are forced to overlap registration with the tryouts occurring on August 15th.  Though it might appear odd to open registration prior to tryouts, it is the only way to determine which age levels of competitive teams we will have (10u - High School).  Without that knowledge, we cannot schedule ice time, nor can we declare teams for the upcoming SYTHL season.  Obviously, everybody wants an idea of what their team's schedule will look like but without knowing what teams we will have, there are way too many "what ifs" to create a schedule . By opening registration now, we hope to obtain enough registrations to secure teams so we can begin scheduling and declaring teams for the upcoming SYTHL season.  Obviously, if a player has registered for the season and then gets cut at tryouts, we will refund the season registration (no refunds for tryouts).
